Module 1 of Digital Design is a project of digitally designing the Queen's Park Pavilion by Claridge Architects from Rhino Software based on orthographic information provided to me. It is also an experimentation of diagrams as a means of communication.  The following images and text describes the end product of my exploration where threshold and circulation is interpreted through diagrams. It is also a means of figuring out the concept and strategies that goes behind the design of this pavilion. The figure below is the completed digital model of the pavilion.

The diagram above informs the main circulation and secondary circulation. As the pavilion is enclosed and has 2 openings where the entrances are, the way users move through the pavilion is straightforward. During the exhibition, the secondary circulation shows the possible area where users could move about.

The diagram above informs the threshold of the pavilion. In this case, it is a heatmap that shows least private to most private areas in the pavilion. As shown above, along the edge of the pavilion is the least private represented by the light yellow color. Going towards the centre of the pavilion, it is the most private represented in orange. This is due to the alignment of the facades and layers.
